Accident Waiver and Release of Liability

By typing my name below, I hereby assume all risks of participating in any and all activities associated with DOPE Hike Series, LLC and DOPE Nature Walk Series, DOPE Kayaking, DOPE Tubing, DOPE Excursions, and any events falling under DOPE Series, including but not limited to, risks arising from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them, or potential liability without fault.

I certify that I am physically fit, have sufficiently prepared or trained for participation in this activity, and have not been advised by a qualified medical professional to refrain from participating. I further certify that there are no health-related reasons or conditions that preclude my participation in this activity. I also acknowledge that I have disclosed any relevant medical conditions or allergies.

I understand that this activity may involve a test of my physical and mental limits and carries the potential for death, serious injury, and property loss. These risks include, but are not limited to, those caused by terrain, wildlife, changing weather conditions, temperature, condition of participants, equipment, vehicular traffic, lack of hydration, and actions of other people, including participants, volunteers, and organizers. I acknowledge that I am participating voluntarily and am aware of the risks involved.

Minors: If the participant is under the age of [18], I, as the parent or legal guardian, acknowledge that I have read and understand the contents of this waiver and hereby consent to their participation in the activity.

Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued unless the event is canceled by the organizers. For cancellations or medical withdrawals, please contact us for additional information.

Release and Waiver of Liability:

I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE from any and all liability, including but not limited to liability arising from negligence or fault, for my death, disability, personal injury, property damage, property theft, or actions of any kind which may occur to me, including while traveling to and from this activity. This applies to the following entities or persons:

DOPE Hike Series, LLC and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, representatives, and agents
Activity holders, sponsors, and volunteers

Indemnity Agreement: I agree to INDEMNIFY, HOLD HARMLESS, AND PROMISE NOT TO SUE the aforementioned entities from any and all liabilities or claims arising from my participation in this activity, regardless of whether caused by negligence or fault.

Severability Clause: If any provision of this waiver is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of the waiver will remain in full effect.

Jurisdiction: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Virginia.

I CERTIFY THAT I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENT. I AM AWARE THAT THIS IS A RELEASE OF LIABILITY AND A CONTRACT AND I SIGN IT OF MY OWN FREE WILL.
